Every Voice in Action is a private foundation based in Tucson, Arizona that makes grants to non-profit organizations to encourage and support youth voice in our community. We define youth voice as young people having an authentic voice in their lives and in the life of the community. For us, this means the community recognizing youth as important resources, and encouraging them to express their unique perspectives and ideas. In addition to grantmaking, we operate and support programs to teach youth about philanthropy and engage them in making grants that benefit other youth and the community. History
Every Voice in Action was created with one family’s resources rather than public funds. We do not raise money or apply for grants ourselves. The funds we use to operate and give grants come from our endowment (original principal). Every Voice in Action is the successor organization to The M.A.R.K. Foundation, which was established in 1994. The Founding Trustee is Eva Harris.
Requests for Proposals
We accept proposals or grant applications primarily by invitation or when we issue a Request for Proposals. Our Youth Voice RFP is released in January of each year, and awards are announced by May. Sign up for our mailing list to receive e-mail updates and RFP notifications.
Our Office
We’re located on Country Club Road just north of Glenn ( click here for a map) where we maintain a meeting facility that is available for use by non-profits at no charge. Click for more information on our meeting facility.
Youth Voice
